The logo and branding for Lightbulb Moment has had a transformation! Our new logo needed to encompass our vision and values, as well as be a shining beacon for our future work and impact.
Obviously we had to keep the lightbulb, but we wanted to highlight the learning elements and how we are all connected in a digital world.
Why rebrand Lightbulb Moment at all?
Is rebranding necessary? Is it just a case of a new picture of a lightbulb? We reflected on and all sorts of aspects around this (even considering changing the company name at one point!).
When Lightbulb Moment started in 2013 it was just me (Jo) working as an associate for other companies. I put the logo and branding together myself. Whilst I have design skills and experience, it doesn’t make me a graphic designer and nor am I objective and removed enough from the business to see what professional marketeers can.
I invested a huge amount of time and effort in developing my skills, expertise and my own perspective around live online learning. I developed Lightbulb Moment, offering consultancy, coaching, design, production and training services to a variety of companies. In 2017 Michael came on board and we’ve continuously developed the company since then.
Our systems, processes and training have all gone from professional strength to even greater professional strength and it was time that our logo and branding more closely resembled the work we put in and the feedback we receive.
The future of Lightbulb Moment
Over the last decade Lightbulb Moment has expanded the network of people that help us to deliver our services and we’ve also expanded the types of teams we support. The global pandemic that started in 2020 was a seismic shift for so many individuals and organisations with regards their digital offerings, and we developed our own offerings too.
We now have our virtual classroom training courses modularised for convenience, as well as details about our consultancy, coaching and other offerings on our brand new website and our updated brochure.
Here’s to another decade of development and lightbulb moments!
